The P.T. Kotor is a 23.5 meter ocean going tug running 2 Caterpillar 3412DITA engines with a certified bollard pull of 18.8 tonne.

This vessel has an unlimited operational area and is effective for coastal and international towing. She has excellent manoeuvrability with high lift rudders and bow thruster and a good history as a construction and dredging support vessel.

She has a towing hook with 25 tonne capacity, a towing winch, capstan, stern roller, anchor handling / tugger winch and accommodation for 10 persons.

The P.T. Kotor is most famous for the assistance she rendered to the bulk carrier ID Integrity in May 2012 after it encountered main engine failure and was adrift in rough seas off the north coast of Queensland. P.T. Kotor was able to secure the bulk carrier and tow it away from the Great Barrier Reef before handing it over to an AMSA vessel.
