P.T. Fortitude

The P.T. Fortitude is a 34 meter ocean going tug running 2 Cummins KTA50 engines with a certified bollard pull of 41 tonne.

She has an unrestricted operational area and is suitable for a broad range of services including long range towing.

Fitted with a bow thruster, this vessel has good manoeuvrability. She has excellent accommodation and layout, large clear deck space (9 x 8.5mtrs), excellent fuel capacity, GMDSS and satellite phone communications. She also has hydraulic shark jaws and pins for towing operations and a deck crane for handling and loading larger towing equipment. The deck has been strengthened for container loadings of 3 x 20 tonne.

The P.T. Fortitude has completed many international and coastal tows including an Australian record setting tandem tow from Shanghai to Brisbane for the longest nonstop tow by an Australian Tug. She has also worked on project sites including Wheatstone in Western Australia.
